Dear Sirs,
Mr. Vincent Wu with whom I worked at First Bussan Co., Ltd., and who is now a member of your staff, invited my attention to the advertisement for an office manager and advised me to apply.

I am, therefore, enclosing my Record Sheet giving in details my qualifications for the post. As you stress the importance of wide knowledge and foreign languages, I should like to emphasize my strong points in business experience and ablity of foreign languages.

If you feel that my qualifications meet with your requirements, I should be very pleased to come and see you on whatever day or at whatever time is convenient to you. If you will write me to offer an opportunity of personal interview, I shall be very happy.

Letter declining the invitation very cordially

Dear Sirs,

Mr. Vincent Wu, President of PFL Trading Co., Ltd., thanks you very much for the invitation to a dinner party at Royal Hotel on October 27th.

He would be delighted to accept, but as he has already made arrangment to attend an important meeting which cannot be cancelled, Mr. Wu unfortunately will not be able to attend the dinner party.

Mr. Wu wishes to extend his cordial greetings to Mr. Thomas Wilson.
